Leadership Writes is for you if...
What you can expect from this daily (or as often as you can) practice...
By showing up to the page each day, you will find your voice as a leader. As leaders, we need a point of view - steeped in best practice, yes - but informed by our own experience, values, and perspectives. We get to that place not through classes (though I take many), not through books (though I own many) - but through diligent and steady attention to our own thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and actions.
Here’s your invitation: Sit yourself down and write, without stopping for 15 minutes. Keep the pen moving and when you get to the other side of 15 minutes see where you land. Did you know that constant, uninterrupted free writing is how we outrun the inner critic?
There are many prompts to choose from below. If you are unsure which prompt to choose, then I suggest you start with the most recent. The magic is in your writing, and insight will find you when you slow down and give it space.
Thank you for your leadership.
